Description
Customisability, flexibility, product quality. These are the characteristics that make Zintek stand out. Zintek is a Venetian company and a reference point in Europe – the only one in Italy – for the production and marketing of rolled zintek® titanium zinc products.
Zintek creates roofs, facades and sheet metals suitable for any context, from new projects to conservative restoration, materialising all the customer’s requirements. Over the decades, Zintek’s production has become increasingly customised and flexible for any type of request from the designer: the idea is acknowledged, designed, engineered and put into production.
There are numerous architectural works made with zintek® roofing, so much so that the collaboration between the Venetian company and the most famous national and international starchitects is now consolidated: from Renzo Piano (Le Albere in Trento) to Michele De Lucchi (Unicredit Pavillon in Milan) and from Maurizio Varratta (Prysmian Headquarters in Milan) to Sean Godsell (Vatican Chapel at the Venice Biennial), Matteo Thun and Luca Colombo (Davines Village in Parma).
The quality of zintek® is certified by its aesthetic value and versatility: it is a malleable material and therefore easy to work with, it does not require interventions over time, it is sustainable because it is 100% recyclable, it promotes energy saving and it is a material with clean and elegant lines, expressing personality.
Zintek is part of the international holding company Cordifin. It has about 100 employees and has a historic production plant measuring 86 thousand square metres located in Porto Marghera, which gives life to a unique supply chain: from zinc casting to rolling, up to production, marketing and application of the product. It produces 25,000 tonnes of titanium zinc per year, destined for the national and international market; its presence abroad is favoured by two showrooms, in Amsterdam and Shanghai, which are exceptional showcases that make Zintek’s Made in Italy brand known throughout the world.
The Venetian brand has been carrying out a specific cultural project for years: using value storytelling to make the company’s know-how and the potential of its product available through top-quality publications – monographs of its works, bibliographies and application manuals, which transfer history, culture and professionalism to the customer and allow the way in which zintek® contributes to the creation of a work of art to emerge.
